My latest obsession is all about trying to pull perfect espresso shots at home.

Luckily, Hamburg has a relatively good coffee scene which me and my wife are thoroughly enjoying.

Every weekend we try a new coffee shop. If we enjoyed their coffee, we also usually buy some beans to enjoy at home.

Our recommendations so far are Elbgold, Black Delight, Torrefaktum and Blanco.

Oh and Marshall Street. We managed to get a reservation for brunch last month and really enjoyed it. The coffee was great too!

I recently discovered Black Delight while on a stroll at Altona. Their barista was incredibly nice and even offered us some beans for free to taste at home.
